I wrote this surreal story as a way to express a specific kind of grief. I then undertook the challenge of trying to visualise these ideas and share them. I was very pleased to find that this style of writing and visuals resonated intensley with many who read it.
Badlands Grandma
My real love is storytelling, so after becoming absorbed in reading manga and comics, I wanted to see how long it’d take me to make a comic page in my style. 9.5 hours later and here is the result!
I’ll take what I learnt from this and make something more engaging and longer when time permits...
Lonely Abyss
My first attempt at a 4 panel style comic. This format is popular on the internet and they’re often used to setup and deliver on simple visual jokes. I tried to use the medium to tackle some heavier and more abstracted ideas and convey them in a simple form.
